Light Equipment- Currently featured in Be Forward
Walk-behind rollers or Hand-guided rollers, two-wheel vibrating rollers for compacting sidewalks where heavy rollers cannot reach, are mainly 600-800 kg models with Kubota engines. Models are available with Electric starter and Manual starter. They feature a narrow side clearance of only 30mm on each side, allowing rolling right up to curbs. Also, SAKAI offers a unique steering function model.
Plate compactors use vibration to compact surfaces, primarily used for asphalt paving. SAKAI manufactures models ranging from 50-110 kg with Honda engines, featuring front and rear interchangeable plate for economical operation.
Rammers use vertical motion to compact surfaces, ideal for compacting clayey ground. To meet with customer needs, SAKAI offers varieties machines from 50-110 kg with Honda engines.

Road rollers are categorized into soil compactors and asphalt surfacing rollers. SAKAI’s soil compactors range from 4 to 20 tons, offering smooth shell for typical soil compaction and padfoots shell for compacting clayey ground. Asphalt surfacing rollers demonstrate SAKAI’s expertise, featuring double drum rollers, combined rollers with front wheel drum and rear wheel tire, tire rollers, and three-wheel rollers with the widest variety globally. Road Maintenance Machinery
SAKAI offers cold milling machines (Road Cutter) and road stabilizers. Cold milling machines are used primarily for repairing roads by removing damaged asphalt pavement. Road stabilizers are used for stabilizing road base layer, crushing subgrade materials, and mixing asphalt emulsion or cement to create a new base. SAKAI’s road stabilizers contribute to extending road lifespan, gaining attention for their use in Japanese ODA projects in various Africa countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia, Madagascar, and Burkina Faso.
