Interior and Exterior Comparison

Toyota Vitz

The Toyota Vitz is moderately roomy and similar to the Mazda Demio in size. In the first row, the room is enough for people of average height but a tall driver will find the space a bit tight. In the second row, the room is ideal and practical for short urban travels.

On the outside, Styling is certainly part of it. Although the Euro-chic look of the last-generation Vitz hatchback is gone, there’s more of a rally-racer, brawny look in the chunkier-looking air dams, color-keyed and distinct wheel details of the sporty Vitz RS. It’s slightly more distinctive than before, perhaps, but also more universal. Inside is a step in the right direction with nice detailing and materials plus a forthright new instrument-panel design, with the gauges directly in front of the driver.

(a) Cabin Storage

There are storage booths in the cabin that are useful for keeping items such as beverages, documents and smartphones.

At the driver cabin, there is a glovebox, 4 cupholders, door panel storage and a center tray that gives to the back.

For the passenger row, the storage is on the door pockets and the front seat jacket pockets. For the seat outline, thanks to the flat floor, the second-row seat could be folded down, giving more luggage space.

(b) Cabin Space

For sub-compact, the Cargo space is actually large and can carry good-sized luggage. If extra space is needed, the rear seats must be folded flat. The boot space is enough for a family of 5.

Nissan Note

The Nissan Note has been experiencing steady improvements over the years and it’s now one of the most dressed hatchbacks you can buy in Tanzania. It competes with the Subaru Trezia, Toyota Ractis, Mazda Demio and Honda Fit. It claims a large interior that is at parity with the best hatchbacks and it can comfortably seat 5 adults.

Thanks to its elevated seating and boxy shape, it’s easy and spacious to get in and out of but compact, too. The rear seat and boot design offer a degree of MPV-like suppleness, but not quite the adaptability.

The Note’s cabin is imposing for its versatility and space, but unsatisfactory because some of the plastics are of poor quality. Also, there’s no height adjustment for the driver’s seat on entry-level cars but the steering wheel adjusts only for height. The boot can stow 325 litres, or 1,495 litres with the bench folded, when the rear seats are slid back.

On the inside, the front is given a total renovation with LED displays and new buttons but it still maintains the simple and functional design from the previous generation. The most important improvement is on the seating space. The bumper and fuel tank have been redesigned to free up space at the rear. At the front, the accelerator pedal shortened and the size of the engine bay has been reduced. These changes have significantly improved on the seating space that was already good in the previous generation. The room is sufficient even for tall people and for both rows will be comfortable.

(a) Cabin Storage

The Toyota Sienta has adequate storage spaces that are vital for loading items such as smartphones, water bottles, and other hand luggage. There are numerous storage compartments in the cabin that are valuable for storing items as mentioned above.

  1. Thankyou so much for this information, I have learnt alot from you.
I had aToyota fielder make 2010, it served me so well, I could use it in town at same time , I could travel to up country, with my kids with all our luggages. Everything was so good.
I had an accident en it was a write off, I wanted to buy the new model year 2014 or 2015, but someone told me they have mechanical problems, especially with their gear box, I got so confused. How true is the allegations ?
