The first generation came with three choices of engines: 2JZ-GE (3.0 R6), 2JZ-GTE (3.0 TT R6), and 1UZ-FE (4.0 V8 engine). The second-generation Aristo came with two engine choices: 2JZ-GE (3.0 R6) and 2JZ-GTE (3.0 TT R6) both powered with Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence (VVT-i) technology while the V8 model which is a 4-wheel drive was not back-loaded. All Aristo models came with automatic transmission. The Aristo is known for its high-level 2JZ’z tuning mode with a few slight modifications and the engine generates about 400hp (horsepower).
