Toyota RAV4 2009 Model

Toyota Rush is an SUV that looks similar to the size of the old 3-door version of RAV4. It seems that Toyota filled the slot of a small 4 wheel drive SUV after upsizing the 2006 RAV4. The Toyota RAV4 and Rush are good choices if you are looking for an SUV. They definitely differ in some aspects that may influence your buying decision.

Both cars are similar in one aspect they are for day-to-day use that is better for city driving if you want extra storage space and spacious interior and also for off-road driving

Toyota Rush looks pretty and is equipped with everything that you want for daily driving with standard facilities. The trait of the basic 7-seater SUV is alike for both 2018 and 2019 models.

Toyota Rush appeared to be so attractive with a sporty exterior. It obtains styling cues from other Toyota models especially from the Toyota Fortuner, which is evident from the tapered LED headlights and wide front grilles.

Because of being a crossover, RAV4 imitates SUV-like proportions by featuring a lower platform with extended wheelbase. It is another good-looking vehicle with a modern two-tone roof, LED projector-beam headlights, LED taillights and front grilles.

The power comparison of the Toyota Rush and RAV4 will keep the former ahead. A RAV4 2.5 LE is equipped with a 2.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 203 horsepower, while a Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT has a 4-cylinder in-line petrol engine that yields 102 horsepower. The Rush comes with 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual while RAV4 comes with an 8-speed automatic.

The 134 Nm torque of the Rush is good enough for city driving and the acceleration is great as well. The RAV4 is strong around town and stable around turns. It is better than most of its competitors due to its off-road performance.

Cargo Capacity

With 38.4 cubic feet of cargo space, the RAV4 offers more room for storing your stuff and when the rear seats are folded, it increases to 73.4 cubic feet which is an extremely large storage space for a compact SUV. The Toyota Rush comes with a generous cargo area too with 21.5 cubic feet of space and by folding the rear seats forward, you can free up some more space.

Considering the features of Toyota RAV4 and Rush, the Rush appears to be a better choice for city driving. However, the RAV4 is great if you are in need of a nice compact SUV that provides better off-road performance.
