The Toyota Prius was initially produced as a 4-door sedan but since 2005 it has been offered as a 5-door hatchback. It is a fully hybrid electric car and the first mass-produced hybrid vehicle in the world. The first-generation was introduced in 1997-2000.

It is only available in the Japanese market but later on exported to at least 4 countries: United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Air conditioning, electric power steering were the one of the standard equipment and also it became more powerful in speeds and longer distances as they continue to produce the first generation Priuses. In 2003, a complete redesign of the second-generation Prius was launched.

It is more environmentally friendly and has a longer body than the previous model.

Also has more interior space to increase legroom and luggage room.

The third generation was released in 2009 with new features like the three user-selectable driving modes: EV mode for electric-only low-speed operation, Eco mode for fuel efficiency, and power mode for better performance. Other features are solar-PV roof panels, Intelligent parking assist, Lane keeps Assist, and Dynamic Cruise control System.

Also introduced the first combined solar ventilation and remote-controlled air conditioning. The fourth-generation was in 2015 and the first to use the Toyota New Global Architecture which increases structural rigidity and gives a lower center of gravity.

Toyota Belta (From $1,200~)

Toyota Belta was first introduced in 2005 and known to North America and Australia as the Yaris and the Vios in Asia.

It is a subcompact car with a sporty and unique-looking design with alloy rims and fog lights.

The interior function is of a great quality which emphasizes economic focus.

The speedometer gauge is in the middle of the dashboard and all other dials are arranged neatly.
