The Land Rover Defender is an offroad utility vehicle manufactured by Land Rover from 1984 to 2015. A new Defender that is completely different from the previous one was released in September 2019. This new Defender like the previous Defender is available as 90 (short wheelbase) and 110 (long wheelbase).
The new Defender comes in a five-seat configuration as standard. The seats are comfortable and supportive whether it’s on a grueling off-road adventure or long trips, plus they also offer great outward visibility. The second row has ample head- and legroom even for tall occupants. There is an option for a third-row in the 110, which makes the car a seven-seater, but the third-row seats are a bit cramped and are best suited for medium-built adults. There is also an option for a front-row middle jump seat that makes the car a six-seater. Since the jump seat rests above the transmission tunnel, it sits a little higher and is narrower too. Note there is no option that has both the jump seat and the third row.
The new Defender is also available in a short-wheelbase with three doors. This is named the Defender 90, it comes with the front jump seat as standard, its rear seat few inches short of legroom.
